DISCLAIMER - Course may not be recognized by States that Administer their own Lead-Based Paint Program.  If work will be done outside of Utah, check reciprocity laws before applying for this course.

This course is intended to meet requirements established by regulatory agencies for lead abatement inspectors. Abatement monitors, home improvement & remodeling contractors, environmental officers, occupational safety & health officers and others who desire a broad overview of lead abatement may also benefit from these courses.

The courses include practical training exercises & job-site simulations conducted in an on-campus training facility. These exercises allow participants to practice the knowledge & skills that they have gained in the classroom in a realistic setting

Upon request, Utah Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL) credits are available for this Lead Inspector Training course. Credits available are as follows:

Contractor Core Credit Hours: 7.5
Electrician Professional Credit Hours: 4.0
Plumber Core Credit Hours: 7.5

There is a $15 fee for each license for which you request DOPL credit. If you would like to request DOPL credits, please call 801.626.6600.
