Dustin Austin Dustin Austin has almost three decades of experience in Heavy Industrial and Commercial environments and has had safety responsibilities for two thirds of that. As a safety professional, he has worked as a Faculty Instructor at two OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Centers, and as a consultant and trainer for the NDSC. Prior to that, his safety work experience includes large and mid-sized businesses at the local, regional, national level. Dustin has more than 15 years of experience in professional training and consulting. His years of work experience in the Construction, Oil & Gas, Mining, and Manufacturing industries helps him quickly connect with his students and clients alike. Dustin has been recognized for his efforts to promote safe work environments and has received industry recognition for those efforts from his peers at the national level.

Joseph Lanute Joe began his safety career in 1988 following 4 years in the Marine Corps. He was born and raised in Chicago, relocated to Arizona in 1996, then started Universal Safety Compliance in 1998. Universal Safety Compliance is a full-service safety consulting company covering all Industries. Joe has been the Lead OSHA Training Institute instructor for ASU for 9 years and relocated to Colorado the end of 2022. Michael Malone OSHA 10 and 30-hour general industry, Fall Protection, Excavations, Confined Space,CDL, First/Aid, CPR, AED, NCCER Basic Safety Core Program Instructor Michael Malone joined AGC of Wyoming in March of 2018. He has worked in many different fields and taught at a local community college for the last 8 years. Michael has taught classes in OSHA 10 and 30-hour Industrial safety, Construction. Fall Protection, Confined Space, Excavations, Utility Locator, Process Technology, Quality Control, Renewable Resources and Fire Safety, CDL, Ariel Platforms, Front End Loader, and Forklift training. Prior to becoming an instructor, Michael served 4 years in the U.S. Navy as an aviation electrician and spent time in the Persian Gulf on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier during the Gulf War. After serving in the Navy he attended school at the University of Wyoming and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Michael then went to work on commercial wind turbines in the Casper area where he became a Lead Wind Technician. Michael is extremely passionate about teaching and has a firm belief that establishing a safety-conscious workforce will increase production, quality and morale.

Alex Peck Alex Peck is the Western Regional Industrial Hygiene Manager for ATC Group Services LLC. Prior to his current position, he was the Industrial Hygiene Department Manager for Terracon's Salt Lake City office for six years. He also worked as an Industrial Hygienist for AMEC Environment & Infrastructure for almost four years, the University of Washington for two years, and Argus Pacific for nearly three years. Mr. Peck is currently responsible for the industrial hygiene consulting programs for ATC's 10 west region branches. His responsibilities include client management, technical project oversite, project management, and industrial hygiene field surveys. He is also responsible for other aspects of the industrial hygiene consulting program, including quality, internal training, technical report standards, and designing ATC's industrial hygiene project execution methods and resources. Mr. Peck has wide-ranging occupational health and safety experience including consulting, program implementation, and program management. He has participated in thousands of exposure assessments for all types of clients, including construction contractors. He has designed and executed exposure assessments for health stressors including silica, organic chemicals, metals, welding fumes, asbestos, particulates, noise, biological contaminants, and many others. Mr. Peck has extensive regulatory compliance experience including development of site specific health and safety plans and other written compliance programs for projects ranging from thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Other services include work station ergonomic evaluations, indoor air quality investigations, and mold and sewage remediation guidance. Mr. Peck received his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health from Colorado State University and his MBA from the University of Utah.

August Pirmann Augie has worked in the Occupational Safety and Health industry for 38 years. He has extensive experience in both general industry and construction. He works as a private consultant and part owner of Intermountain Safety Training and Consulting. Augie teaches fall protection, trenching and excavations, confined space entry and other courses.
Forrest Dale Robinson Dale Robinson is the owner of HR Safety Consulting, LLC located in Erie, Colorado. He is an Independent Occupational Safety and Health Master Instructor Trainer, Consultant, and business owner since June 2002. Dale has authored many safety and health training courses recognized by governmental agencies and industries. Dale is an internationally renowned safety and health consultant, master instructor trainer and professional motivational speaker. He brings 46 years of occupational work and occupational safety experience from a diverse group of industries. He has over 40 years of boots-onthe-ground experience in the oil and gas industry along with the general and construction industries. Dale is recognized as SME and expert witness for many industries and agencies. Gregory Rudowski Greg Rudowski is a solutions-driven professional with over 10 years' experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) subject matter for construction & heavy manufacturing. He is currently a Site Safety Supervisor for the Salt Lake Temple Renovation Project with Jacobsen Construction. Previously he was the Corporate Safety Director for SME Industries its subsidiaries SME Steel, SME Steel Contractors, Southwest Steel, and CoreBrace. Greg is an Associate Instructor with the University of Utah's Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (RMCOEH). Additionally, he is the principal of Pinecrest HSE Consulting, LLC. His key competencies include construction and manufacturing regulatory compliance as well as strategic team management and development. Areas of subject matter expertise include steel erection, fall protection, and workers compensation / claims management.
Patrick Salandi Patrick Salandi, CSP, has worked as a safety professional for almost 35 years and is currently the safety director of Niels Fugal Sons, a large telecom/pipeline contractor in Pleasant Grove, UT. He was also a safety professional managing safety for a large general contractor for 17 years helping ensure the safety of workers on large construction projects and providing support for the corporate safety program by developing training programs, site safety plans, industrial hygiene protocols, conducting accident investigations, and doing jobsite inspections. After graduating with a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1985, Pat also worked as a loss control consultant for several large workers compensation and multi-line insurance carriers for another 16 years where he did risk assessments and helped a variety of clients develop effective safety programs. He has also done contract work such as risk assessments for large insurance providers and 3rd party providers as well. In addition to his current job assignments, Pat has been an Outreach Trainer since 1995 and enjoys his opportunities to teach for the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health. He has been an instructor in the OSHA 510 course since 2012 and the course chair for this course since 2015. Pat has also been a guest lecturer at the annual Utah Safety and Industrial Hygiene Conference several times.
Daniel Schmutz Daniel (DJ) is a resourceful and meticulous health, safety and environmental professional with over 9 years of experience in the Mining and Chemical Processing industry with a solid understanding of codes and regulations. Richard Wade Rick Wade has enjoyed a variety of assignments throughout his career. He was employed for several years in the healthcare industry as a Facilities Manager, and in the construction industry as a Project Manager. He retired from Weber State University after 30+ years of service with his last assignment being that of the Director of Environmental Health and Safety. As the Director of EHS, Rick was privileged to lead a group of professionals to ensure compliance for all environmental, occupational health, and safety functions for the university. Rick lives with his wife, Robin, in Ogden, Utah. He enjoys gardening, hiking in the mountains, and spending time with his four children, their spouses, and his eight grandchildren.
