This course will provide and overview of the currently available direct-reading instruments and techniques used by environmental and occupational health and safety professionals. An emphasis will be given to the field applicability of commercially-available instruments to characterize the various types of chemical, physical, and biological stressors. The course will delineate both the capabilities and the limitations inherent to their specific field usage.
