MSHA 32-Hour New Miner

This web-based course covers all aspects of the initial training requirements for owners and operators under 30 CFR Part 48 and satisfies the total MSHA requirement for new/inexperienced miner training for Underground. Participants will learn their rights and responsibilities, job-related safety procedures, rescue, first aid techniques, and other safety and health hazards in the surface metal/non-metal industry. Students will receive a completed 5000-23 training certificate upon completion. This certificate will expire one year after completion (by the end of the training month).
